02A starting point, not a rulebook
A packing list works best when it reflects how you actually travel. Use the suggestions, then edit freely.
Choose a rhythm
Without laundry, clothing covers the full trip. With laundry, the suggested cycle is your wash interval plus one drying day, capped at your trip length. Underwear and socks add one spare; tops assume two wears, and bottoms three, plus one spare each.
Make it personal
Most clothing and personal items are multiplied by the number of travellers. Shared items start at one. These are editable defaults, not a children's packing plan, health checklist or specialist equipment list.
Take a copy
Tick items as you pack, then open the print view or download your list. The tool does not upload your entries or automatically store them. A saved file stays on the device where you choose to keep it.
Before you go: check your own travel documents, personal needs and any rules applying to what you plan to carry. This checklist does not check airline allowances, security restrictions, visas, medicines or weather.

Common questions
Does this tell me what I am allowed to take on a flight?
No. It organises packing suggestions only. It does not check airlines, airport security or destination rules and cannot guarantee that a bag or its contents will be accepted.
Why do the clothing quantities look different when I add laundry?
The calculator uses a shorter clothing cycle when you plan to wash. It assumes one additional drying day, one spare pair of underwear and socks, a top for roughly every two days plus one spare, and a bottom for roughly every three days plus one spare. Edit the totals to suit your own habits.
Are the suggested quantities for one person or everyone?
The displayed quantities are totals for your selected group. Clothing and most personal items are multiplied by the number of travellers. Shared items start at one. Adjust these for children, different preferences or separate bags.
Will it remember my list when I return?
Not automatically. Save an editable list file before leaving, then use Open saved list when you return. Printing or downloading text makes a readable copy but only the editable JSON file can be imported.
Can I change an item or remove it?
Yes. Edit its name or quantity directly, use the remove button to delete it, or add your own items. Rebuilding from new trip settings replaces the current checklist only after you confirm.
Do I need to enter private travel information?
No. A list name is optional. Do not add passport numbers, payment details or other sensitive information. The tool does not transmit your list; the website and retailer sites may separately use analytics or advertising according to their policies.
